Full Nutrition Consultation £75 (1 ¼ hours) Follow-Up £45 (45 minutes)
Each person is treated as an individual and any information given or discussed during the consultation is completely confidential. A full detailed case history will be taken where you will be asked different questions about your current health, past health issues, your lifestyle, family medical history, past and current dietary habits and bodily functions. Before coming to your consultation you will be sent some forms that you will need to fill out and bring with you. These forms include basic data, life style questionnaire and symptom analysis. You will also need to write a 7-day food and drink diary before coming to your consultation. From this consultation I will prepare a tailor made dietary and supplement programme and if required arrange for any necessary home tests for you.
The initial treatment programme will typically last for between 4-8 weeks, after which a follow up consultation will be necessary to review your progress and make adjustments to your plan. The full nutrition fee (£75) covers the duration of the treatment programme and includes support via telephone or email should you have any questions or problems during the initial 4-8 weeks. The treatment programme will be developed to a level that is achievable for you. You will be given advice on getting started together with shopping lists, menu plan, recipes and life style changes. It is extremely important that you attend a follow-up consultation after your initial treatment programme has been completed. Changes to your diet and the addition of supplements affect your body’s biochemistry and must be carefully monitored. The majority of people need between 2-4 consultations (1 initial, 1-3 follow-ups) before they are fully healthy and ready for a life long healthy eating maintenance diet and supplement programme.
Make an appointment for a full nutrition consultation to address any serious health issues, concerns about future health and insurance of a healthy and happy life.
Kinesiology Consultation £50 1 hour
A consultation consists of taking a case history and relevant information before muscle testing commences. The test is purely to find out what is happening inside your body. A session lasts 60 minutes and is performed on a treatment couch, fully clothed. Various muscle groups will be tested including your legs so it is important to wear comfortable trousers. Typically tests will screen your body for stress indicators, pathological conditions such as viruses, fungus etc, a lack of essential nutrients, and an excess of the wrong nutrients, your digestive system function, emotional issues and back problems. Corrections will then be put into place depending on the imbalances found. Corrections can include dietary changes, a supplement programme, structural fixes, emotional and energy related work. The number of sessions you will be need will depend solely on your presenting issues and the number of imbalances identified. Typically people require between 1 and 4 sessions at varying intervals.
Kinesiology Food Intolerance Test £30 ½ hour
Kinesiology 'muscle testing' is an effective tool for determining food sensitivities. Food sensitivities can have a role to play in many common health conditions such as chronic digestive problems, anxiety, muscle pain, fatigue and weight gain. Using an indicator muscle (usually the arm) testing can be carried out for a whole range of different foods and food groups by assessing your muscle resistance to the foods placed on you. The results are immediate and testing is completely pain free. It is suitable for both adults and children. The food intolerance test will determine a list of foods that do not agree with you. You will only need one session to establish the problem foods, however, you may then be recommended a nutrition consultation to help you plan your diet and ensure you are getting the correct balance of essential nutrients if avoiding certain foods.
